About Me
About this blog
This blog was started as a whirlwind. So these objectives are laid out on the top as a reminder to me and for you to remind me. These objectives will change accordingly. Do praise or criticize me for keeping to my plan or deviating from it. This is the start of accountability to my plan.
There are Twitter updates, if you are my friend please identify yourself when you add to your follow list.
Long term objectives
1. To be financially independent so that I can free my time in devoting to God and Family.
2. Money is for memories. I want to take my Family to Disneyland in 2014. I want my daughters to remember this for life. I can also take this to my grave.
3. Trading as a vehicle to secure my daughters' future education requirement.
4. Continued learning/evolution of myself and the markets.
5. This is not for fun, it is a means for an end. Be very ruthless!

RMEA crashed
Well. It has to come somehow as I am pushing this EA to the limits of both the brokerage rules and margin. Lost the profits and a little of the capital. Back to the drawing board.

Back to Canada
I had a great time with the family. The trading did well, RMEA is on its way to gain 100% of initial capital. I have been exploring other currency pairs for more options. TSGA hit a margin call limit which made it flatten the positions. I didn't like the way it flatten. FXCM flatten them all which is crazy, they should have flatten at least to positions. Anyway I am looking for a broker with high leverage.

Time for a vacation
Time for me to return to Singapore for a while.
This time for a longer period of time. I will leave the trading to the algo. I will monitor once a day.
I have migrated to a full VPS and will get rid of my VMware ESXi that has served me well. Being closer to the exchange is a lot better for trading. I will look forward to another VPS in Europe soon for the brokers in that region.
I'll post again in July.

Closing the the accounts at Gain Capital
I am closing my accounts at Gain Capital aka Forex.com because the spreads offered for the pairs I am trading is not that good. They earn from the spread, this I know and it is getting horrendous. JEUR and CCCUSD will be sent somewhere else.
Till then another broker.
Till then another broker.

January 2011 end
I am back. After a two month break. The news in the middle east is not great. Looks like another Greece jolt like last year. Be careful. CL, Crude is opening with a gap up in the 90ish dollars from the 86 dollar close on Friday.
Reducing my lot sizes to minimize risk.

A cracking start of the month!
My semester is about to end in 3 weeks and I will be back in Singapore for Christmas and New Year with the family. The automated trading looks ok and on schedule.
lmnusd has recovered all its initial losses and have gained since Dec 1. All accounts are in the blue. I will need to close lmnusd and send the money to cccusd. Consolidation to 2 accounts is what I will be doing. One in EUR and another in USD.
My examinations are around the corner and this should be my last post for the year. I hope that you readers have had a profitable year too.
Winter will be my last semester for this course. After that it is to seek a job and back to work. Hopefully I can find one that allows me to trade in the morning and work later in the day. I don't mind graveyard shifts.
